dc.description.abstractThis article presents a pragmatic strategy for accelerating the diffusion of advances in eco-efficiency, and for enhancing two-way communication between industry and its diverse constituencies. Attention is also given to means now available for developing countries to "leapfrog" in eco-efficiency and, at the same time, increase understanding in industrialized countries of market conditions in the developing world.en_US
