MIT Sociotechnical Systems Research Center (SSRC)
The MIT Sociotechnical Systems Research Center (SSRC) is an interdisciplinary research center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that is focused on sociotechnical systems that shape our world.
SSRC brings together faculty, researchers, students, and staff from across MIT with partners from around the world to study complex enterprises that span government, industry, the service sector, and healthcare. SSRC is affiliated with the MIT School of Engineering Engineering Systems Division.
The MIT Sociotechnical Systems Research Center was formerly known as the Center for Technology, Policy, and Industrial Development (CTPID) and was renamed in February 2012.
