The 2007 Survey of the Performance of American Elections studied experiences with election administration during the 2007 gubernatorial elections in Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi. This study was a pilot for the 2008 Survey of the Performance of American Elections. The questionnaire asks a series of questions about the experience voters had when they voted in the 2007 gubernatorial elections in these three states. The survey sample included an Internet study of 250 registered voters in each state and a parallel telephone study of another 250 registered voters. The total sample size of the study was 1,500.
